A Horse Is A Horse Of Course

Well my drawing class has begun, really we are into our third week of the six weeks working on “The Horse’. You see making small circles are a big challenge for me but that is how our teacher, Maureen Killaby, works and it is beautiful! I can do them although it takes me longer and what would be the purpose of taking the class if I was not going to apply the techniques being taught? Do I hope that I may someday be good enough to have my work in someones collection? Yes, but if not I will have done my best with the talents the Lord has so generously given to me and hopefully I will have been able to give something back to the Creator.

Back to my original thought of “The Horse”, some in our class like naming our work but this Horse escapes names for me. Do you have any ideas for a name? I am posting a preview of the work in progress with the finished drawing to come later (much later). I have at least four pieces of artwork on the “to finish” list but I will get there!
